Agriculture is rapidly changing. Due to the growing world population, more extreme weather conditions and the increasing restrictions in the sector, we need to look for alternative ways to ensure sustainable crop nutrition for the future. In this respect, smarter use of land, of the available and applied nutrients by the crop, and an improved tolerance to stress conditions are important factors.
Where Nutrition meets Biostimulation™
This is why at Van Iperen we focus on products providing the plant with better Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE), improved Abiotic Stress Tolerance and an overall greater Crop Quality. We believe that combining traditional mineral fertilizers with biostimulants is the future. Therefore, we focus on creating innovative solutions Where Nutrition meets Biostimulation™ for fertigation, foliar and precise soil application.
What are biostimulants?
According to Patrick du Jardin of the University of Liège in Belgium, "A plant biostimulant is any substance or microorganism applied to plants with the aim of enhancing nutrition efficiency, abiotic stress tolerance and/or crop quality traits, regardless of its nutrients content".
Our biostimulants products
We invest in R&D combing our nearly 100 years of experience in nutrition with the opportunities of biostimulants. Our FoliaStim® range with seaweed, our products with Iperen IPE® Technology and our Iperen WAKE-up Liquid are great examples of products combining nutrition and biostimulants.
Our products combining Nutrition and Biostimulation
FoliaStim® Ultimate Liquid
Van Iperen FoliaStim® Ultimate Liquid is a pure and highly concentrated liquid NPK fertilizer, formulated with 15% seaweed and EDTA chelates. Our product is a stable solution and is recommended at different phenological stages. The high level of Nitrogen, Phosphate and Potassium in our formula improves cell division, cell elongation and cell pressure. The presence of high quality seaweed supports the uptake and the transportation of nutrients and increases resistance against abiotic stress. Produced in our own plant Euroliquids.
Iperen IPE® Liquid 3 - 15 - 0
Iperen IPE® Liquid | 3 - 15 - 0 is a unique formulation based on the Iperen IPE® technology. It improves Phosphate and Micronutrient efficiency. Our product is a stable solution compatible with all Phosphate based straight fertilizers (e.g. MAP, MKP, UP). It is especially suitable during the first half of the crop cycle. The Iperen IPE® Technology in our formula releases soil fixated Phosphates and overcomes the precipitation of fresh applied Phosphates. The IPE-effect has been proven in many scientific trials. Today IPE® Technology is used globally to better manage Phosphates needs. Produced in our own plant Euroliquids.
Van Iperen WAKE-up® Liquid is a unique foliar solution to support growers in enhancing crop performance. It is a one-of-a-kind solution, improving both Water Use Efficiency and Crop Quality. Van Iperen WAKE-up® Liquid has been developed by R&D and Innovation for fruit orchards and vegetables, but can also be used on various arable crops. Van Iperen WAKE-up® Liquid counteracts the effects of drought and heat by enhancing the water uptake and improving the water balance status of the plant. In addition, Van Iperen WAKE-up® Liquid stimulates and induces a higher final quality, in particular coloration and firmness. Many years of trial results have confirmed these positive effects, even in years with sufficient irrigation/rainfall. Van Iperen WAKE-up® Liquid has demonstrated to be a very valuable investment (ROI). Van Iperen WAKE-up® Liquid is the quality drink for your crop!
Stim Pure AA Liquid
Van Iperen Stim Pure AA Liquid is a pure and highly concentrated liquid seaweed based on Ascophyllum nodosum. Our product is a stable solution and is recommended at different phenological stages. Ascophyllum nodosum is continuously exposed to ebb and flood and survives in a high salinity environment. Our Canadian Ascophyllum nodosum passes its stress resistance properties on to the plant. It is known for it’s high consistency independent of the harvesting season and for it’s unique way of processing.
