Efthimios Kermanos is a professional grower from the Kokkinochoria region in the Famagusta district of Cyprus. His main crops are potatoes, onions, carrots, and black-eyed peas.
Since 2023, he has been using Van Iperen fertilizers and biostimulants through his collaboration with LG Agricultural Products LTD in Avgorou, and his results are a testament to what the right solution can deliver for a grower.
A Proactive Approach for applying Plants for Plants® 4-Terra
Rather than waiting for problems to appear, Efthimios adopted a preventive strategy from the earliest stages of crop development. He begins applying Plants for Plants® 4-Terra as soon as potato plants reach 10 cm in vegetative growth with three applications at 15-day intervals for a total of 1.5 liters per decare (1,000 m²) across the crop cycle.
Plants for Plants® 4-Terra is an Ecocert certified, 100% plant-based biostimulant designed as a Proactive Crop Management Tool (PCM) . When applied early, it improves Phosphorus Use Efficiency (NUE), stimulates beneficial soil microbiome activity, and supports stronger crop establishment, making nutrients more accessible to the plant from the very start of the season.
What Efthimios Observed in His Potatoes
The results speak for themselves. “What I observed using Plants for Plants® 4-Terra on the potatoes is better root development, thicker stems, more uniform tubers, and an increase in production”, Efthimios said.
