About this position
The Managing Director leads the company together with the Management Team and reports to the Group Management/Board of Thesis. The Thesis group companies operate as standalone profit centers. Synergies within Thesis provide each company with significant added value, supported by Group Service Centers in Finance, Human Resources, and ICT. Van Iperen International has its own sales and home offices in various countries, as well as a joint venture in China.
Tasks and responsibilities
- You bear ultimate responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the organization and lead a multidisciplinary management team.
- From this position, you ensure alignment, streamlining, and the effective implementation of commercial, operational, and financial policies, aimed at achieving sustainable growth and results.
- You collaborate closely with the management team on strategy, growth and team development,
with focus on achieving both annual and long-term objectives. - You can combine short-term (commercial) targets with a long term strategy.
- You empower and facilitate team members to develop themselves, to solve problems and take responsibility.
About You
- You hold an Academic degree (e.g. Business Administration) and have a proven relevant international track record, preferably within the agri sector/markets.
- You have expertise in sales/marketing/branding, business development, global supply chain,
finance and a strong affinity for digitalization is very relevant as well. - You are fluent in Dutch and English.
- You are willing to travel (approximately 25 percent of your time).
- You have experience with project management.
