L\u2019objectif principal de Van Iperen \u00e9tant d\u2019am\u00e9liorer l\u2019Efficience d\u2019Utilisation des Nutriments (NUE), nous nous employons \u00e0 proposer des solutions qui permettent de mieux g\u00e9rer les besoins en Phosphates des plantes. Cette approche est au c\u0153ur de notre <strong>Technologie IPE\u00ae.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pourquoi les Phosphates sont-ils importants pour les plantes ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le Phosphore (P) est un nutriment essentiel pour assurer la sant\u00e9 et les performances des cultures (enracinement, floraison, besoins \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques, etc.). Les v\u00e9g\u00e9taux peuvent assimiler le Phosphore pr\u00e9sent dans le sol sous forme de Phosphates. Les sols sont souvent riches de ce pr\u00e9cieux \u00e9l\u00e9ment, qui reste pourtant l\u2019un des moins disponibles pour une assimilation par les plantes ! En cause, un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne appel\u00e9 <strong>\u00ab\u00a0fixation\u00a0\u00bb.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Comment s\u2019explique la carence en Phosphore des plantes ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les<strong> Phosphates ont tendance \u00e0 se fixer dans le sol<\/strong>, ce qui les rend indisponibles pour la plante. De multiples facteurs conduisent \u00e0 la fixation du Phosphore.<\/p>\n<p>Les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s du sol ou du substrat constituent sans aucun doute un facteur essentiel : dans les sols alcalins, le Phosphore est fix\u00e9 par le Calcium et le Magn\u00e9sium, tandis que dans les sols acides il se fixe avec le Fer et l\u2019Aluminium. Ce qui laisse une fen\u00eatre tr\u00e8s \u00e9troite \u2013 un pH du sol compris entre 6 et 7 \u2013 o\u00f9 ce probl\u00e8me se pose moins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quels sont les signes d&rsquo;une carence en Phosphore des plantes ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lorsque le phosphore vient \u00e0 manquer, les principaux effets se font sentir sur le d\u00e9veloppement initial de la plante\u00a0: <strong>une r\u00e9duction de la croissance des feuilles<\/strong>, <strong>de la surface foliaire<\/strong> ainsi que <strong>du nombre de feuilles<\/strong>. Au champ, la <strong>carence d\u2019une culture en Phosphore<\/strong> se traduit par des signes visibles : feuilles de couleur vert fonc\u00e9 ou violac\u00e9e ou aux contours recourb\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les autres sympt\u00f4mes que l\u2019on peut citer sont <strong>une croissance plus lente<\/strong> ou <strong>un retard dans le d\u00e9veloppement des jeunes racines<\/strong> conduisant \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me racinaire plus faible, ce qui complique l\u2019assimilation de l\u2019eau et des nutriments.
